Captain Eduardo, with 25 year experience sailing Mazatlan waters, will provide a commentary on the habitat and biology of the region.

The IslanD Voyages
Isla Isabela… A breeding ground for the large frigate bird and other sea birds, it is an ecological reserve a few hours from Mazatlan and featured in one of Jacque Cousteau's TV programs. The trip lasts 4 days allowing plenty of time to hike and explore the island and its wildlife. Enjoy fresh seafood from local fishermen and bask in the sun on a quiet beach.

Isla Isabela and San Blas
The town of San Blas is south of Mazatlan in the state of Nayarit where it is well known for its natural beauty and its rich culture and history. San Blas  is a small fishing village of about 12,000 people. Historic events that have taken place in the city include colonial conquests, pirate invasions and battles for Mexico’s independence. Among the main tourist attractions here are the quiet beaches with calm waters and lush tropical jungle vegetation, which is the habitat of a large population of bird species. This 6 day trip takes you on from Isla Isabela before returning to Mazatlan.
